Where we come from
*** This currently recaps the history of Rock Creek Church. We will soon add the history of Boulder Valley Church of Christ and the story of how God brought these two congregations together as Legacy Church.
1997
Rock Creek Church was birthed from a small living room in Louisville, CO, as Pastor Galen Huck gathered with other like-minded followers of Christ. The church grew with the surrounding community, ultimately leading it from elementary to middle to high school auditoriums. In 2005, God provided land and a building, and the church established a new home in Louisville off McCaslin Rd. south of South Boulder Rd.
2008
Pastor Galen returned home to Wyoming to pastor the church that had sent him to plant Rock Creek Church. A second Lead Pastor, Chris Coté, was called to the church and served until October of 2014, helping Rock Creek Church take its first steps in this second chapter.
2015
Pastor Brian Hays, was called to become the third Lead Pastor of Rock Creek Church. He and his wife, Sandy, along with their four incredible children, moved from Ventura, CA. While in California, Brian served as a Youth Pastor and Executive Pastor and obtained his Master's of Divinity Degree (MDIV) from Fuller Theological Seminary. Brian and Sandy bring an exciting outreach focus, engaging messages that are applicable to everyday life, and a motivating hope for the future.

Where we're headed
What's the bottom line? We want to follow Jesus and make disciples. "Making disciples" can be vague, but for us, it's helping each other take our next step with Jesus, whatever that may be. We also take next steps as an entire community, working to make an impact in our city and make Jesus famous.
